Little Orchard Bed and Breakfast is situated in the small village of Bassenthwaite in the Lake District. Nestled between the stunning Cumbrian fells and the wild Solway coast, Little Orchard is the perfect rural retreat for exploring these and many other treasures of the English Lake District and Cumbria. The house is half a mile away from Bassenthwaite village and 500 yards away from Armathwaite Hall, a popular wedding venue.
The rooms have stunning views over Bassenthwaite Lake and the formiddable Skiddaw range. There is easy walking access to both of these attractions, as well as many more.
The house is relaxing with log fires in the winter months and breakfast on the terrace on fine summer mornings. We have a 'Welcome Host' award and aim to bring you to a home from home in the beautiful English Lake District. Our private garden is perfect for enjoying quiet times with a book or for simply sitting back and admiring the view in peaceful surroundings......
